“Your passion is waiting for your courage to catch up.”

Running towards Fear pt. 2
Here is the second reason why we should run towards fear:
You may never fulfil your destiny if you don’t face your fears.
The quality of our lives will be greatly determined by our courage to overcome our fears.

Choose Joy
I choose joy because the joy of the Lord is my strength
I choose joy because greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world
I choose joy because my salvation is sealed and nothing can change that

Running towards Fear pt.1
We all struggle with fear
When we have a healthy dose of fear, it protects us from making wrong or harmful choices.
Many times, however, most of us struggle with unhealthy fears and thus make choices and decisions from a place of fear.

Embracing Vulnerability
I have always been a positive person, and even though I have my moments, I am known to be the positive one in most situations.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy life and always see positivity in others and life.
Behind the scenes however,

The Shame Epidemic ..Pt 2
Let me tell you a story you may already know from the bible.
A woman was caught by a group of people who were about to stone her to death.
See this wonderful woman, let’s call her Tara was caught in the act of adultery and in those times, according to their law, SHE, not the man she was having the affair with…lol, SHE deserved to die.

The Shame Epidemic..Pt 1
We’ve all been there and done something at some point that has caused us shame and humiliation.
Whether it was tripping and falling in front of everyone, being rejected by a guy you liked, or not getting an invitation to an event whilst your friends did.

Christ and Authenticity
Jesus Christ is our perfect example of authenticity.
He was original. He didn’t bend the truth of who he was to please ANYBODY.
He did not seek man’s approval but only God’s. He was just himself.

Authenticity
Authenticity: something that’s real, genuine or original.
Original, hmmm, I like this one the most. Something original.
Nothing added, nothing subtracted, not pretending, just is.
Why are we afraid to just be ourselves?
Why are we afraid to sit in the comfort of who we are?

God’s love. A different perspective
I’m sure most of us have heard someone say to us, “God loves you” How does it make you feel, to hear someone say this to you? We say this so many times, especially at church, that it’s become slang we easily discard. I’ve often asked the following questions at different points in my life.

Navigating challenging times
I saw a program about a couple who had a daughter with CRPS. During a relapse, they took her to a children's hospital only to be accused of abusing their daughter because of the type of medication they were administering to her. This became a dreadful case between the family, child protection services and off course the courts. The emotional toil of it all led the mother to take her own life leaving behind the poor family. I guess to her, it was the only way of saving her daughter from the foster care system. I still cannot get this story out of my mind.

What’s stored in your heart?
So, here’s something I dislike. I was going to use the word hate here but I think that is a bit extreme :D HOARDING. I don’t like Hoarding stuff.
The thought of having storage filled with boxes upon boxes of things I don’t need doesn’t appeal to me….AT ALL. My theory is,

Why overthinking is a waste of life
Have you ever wondered what your life would look like if you spent less time overthinking and more time living in the present? Life can be challenging I get that, but sometimes life is even more challenging because of the pain we cause ourselves. One way we cause ourselves pain is by overthinking
